State of obesity: US adult obesity has decreased in four states

Newscast Media NEW YORK—A report from Trust for America's Health (TFAH) and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), shows adult obesity in America has decreased in four states, (Minnesota, Montana, New York and Ohio), and increased in two (Kansas and Kentucky). The rest of the states remained relatively stable.
The report shows Lousiana has the highest adult obese rate at 36.2 percent and Colorado has the lowest at 20.2 percent.
In 1991, no state had a rate above 20 percent. The analyses are based on the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS).
Colorado is shown with the lowest rate at 20.2% The report calls for increased public health engagement in in adults with a series of recommendations including:
