Germany vs. Argentina July 3, in the most anticipated match of the World Cup by Joseph Ernest June 28, 2010
Newscast Media -- Germany will put to test the undefeated Argentinian team this Saturday July 3. It was at this stage in the world cup of 2006 that Germany beat Argentina, but will history repeat itself?
Known for precise and mathematically astute passing of the ball and ball control, Germany has a rich history of soccer legends. From the days of Gerd Müller "The bomber," to the 80s with Karl Heinz Rummennigge, the German team has a wealth of mentors for its young team in the 2010 world cup.
The Argentinians have a star-studded lineup lead by 23-year old Lionel Messi, whom Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger called, "Unstoppable, the best player in the world by some distance." Their coach, the legendary Diego Maradonna, known for temper tantrums against journalists, has vowed revenge against Germany for what they did to Argentina in 2006.
Maradonna went on to say, "Why should I think about Germany? I can think about them tomorrow. You all write want you want anyway so you can say whatever you want. Have carte blanche to write whatever you want about what I think about Germany."
The two teams meet once again in Capetown in what is already brewing into an an exciting spectacle. (Add Comments)
